Wireless

Configuration

Click HOME NETWORK and then click on Wireless. The Summary tab will display be

default.

Apply the following settings:

o SSID: Cisco_xxxx (or customer requested)

o Note: Default SSID is Cisco_xxxx where xxxx is the last 4 digits of the

gateway’s serial number.

o Authentication: open

o Encryption: WEP Encryption: enabled (default)

Click on the Basic tab to display wireless settings.

Enable wireless: Enabled by default.

Hide access Point: disables SSID broadcast, not enabled by default.

SSID: Cisco_xxxx by default.

Channel: should be set to Any

Wireless Mode: 802.11g & 802.11b by default

54g Protection: auto by default
