Installing Half-Height Line Cards

Follow these steps to install the carrier into any slot of the Cisco 10000 series chassis:

Step 1 If you have not already done so, attach an antistatic wrist strap to your wrist and to an ESD socket on

the chassis, or to a bare metal surface on the chassis or frame (Figure 17-15 or Figure 17-16).
