Step 2 If you want to be able to download new software over the WAN, verify that the

Flash memory card is set with write protection OFF. The write-protect switch is

located at the top right edge of the card. (See Figure 2-5.) When write protection

is OFF, the write-protect switch is in the left position, as shown in Figure 2-5.
