In addition, the Cisco Catalyst 2940 Series Cable Guard is available to provide extra security against theft as well as protect the Ethernet

cables from tampering or removal (see Figures 4 and 5).

Please note that the switch can be wall-mounted without the cable guard using the underside mounting slots depicted in Figure 2. However, the switch and
